Building for the Future

Building for the Future

Our Story

For nearly 90 years, Central Church has been committed to one mission: building lives centered on Christ. Generations before us stepped out in faith—often sacrificially—to create a place where people could encounter God, find community, and grow in their faith.

Today, we are seeing that same opportunity again.

Our church continues to serve a diverse and growing community in Tulsa, with active ministries for children, students, families, Spanish-speaking congregants, and individuals with special needs. Each week, we welcome new guests, invest in discipleship, and partner with local organizations and schools to serve our city.

However, much of our current facility no longer supports that mission as effectively as it could. Key areas—such as our entryways, children’s spaces, and worship environments—create barriers for first-time guests and limit our ability to serve families well.

Because of that, we are pursuing a renovation project designed to remove those obstacles and expand our capacity to reach people.

  • Creating welcoming, intuitive entry points for guests

  • Improving and expanding environments for children and families

  • Enhancing worship and gathering spaces to better serve our congregation and community

  • Updating essential infrastructure to support long-term ministry

This project focuses on:

Our goal is not simply to improve a building, but to increase our impact—to create a space where more people can experience life change, deeper community, and lasting faith.

We believe this is an opportunity to invest not just in a facility, but in the future of our city and the next generation.

As those before us built with faith and sacrifice, we now have the opportunity to do the same—so that the story of what God is doing through Central Church can continue for decades to come.
